As a musician, Bishop Simmons' reputation precedes him. His musical genius began to be displayed at the tender age of 3, when he began to skillfully play the drums as he accompanied his father on revivals throughout the south and east coast area. At the age of 9 Bishop Simmons tried his hand at playing the organ. The rest as they say is history. From that time to the present, the musical ministry God entrusted to his care has impacted the lives of several generations of people throughout the nation. He developed into an exemplary and profound organist and pianist. The anointing which rest with his music has often been likened to that of David. His music touches the heart and soul of man with an anointing that literally puts demons to flight. He has mentored and trained some of the most successful, respected, and talented musicians and recording artist in the music business today. His gift extends to that of a lyricist and composer, whose songs have been recorded.
